If using the 2 day shipping option, you must place your order by THURSDAY at noon if you want to receive it by SATURDAY, otherwise your order will not be processed until Monday.
When I select OVERNIGHT SHIPPING, when can I expect my package?
We love being able to offer overnight shipping for your #meats! We wanted to offer some clarification on our ordering process to ensure you know when to expect your fresh meats to make it to your address so that they can come at the highest quality possible. Our shipping days are Monday-Thursday FOR ALL PACKAGES.
If you choose overnight shipping and place your order…
- Between Monday - Thursday up until 12:00pm EST, your package will arrive the next day.
- After Thursday 12:00pm EST but BEFORE Monday AM, your package will ship Monday and arrive Tuesday
All Tuckin’ Good products are vacuum-sealed then hand-packed into Green packaging cooler along with frozen (food-grade) gel packs and recycled padding. Once the lid is in place, we seal the cooler with packing tape and place it into a corrugated box to further protect your order during the shipping process. This inside packaging is totally green made of corn starch so it can be dissolved under water, composted, or put in your recycle bin.
NO, we want our products to stay chilled but not so much that they freeze. We only use food grade gel packs to keep your package cool for up to 48 hours of non-refrigeration. These ice packs are great because they are leak-resistant, made here in New England, and reusable!
We ship our packages via UPS and/or FedEx. This service means that your package will leave our facility around 4 pm, and arrive at your residence before 8 pm the next day. New England orders will ship ground and arrive the next day.
Next Day Air is next day and Two Day Air is 2 day arrival.
We also provide you with a tracking number so you can check on the status of your package throughout the day.
We can process and ship packages Monday-Thursday. Thursday NOON is the cutoff for orders to be received by Saturday. No packages can be delivered on Sunday or Monday.
No, we don’t require recipients to sign for their packages to ensure UPS or FedEx never “holds” a perishable food order you placed. If you or the desired recipient is not home, the driver will simply leave the package at the residence. Keep in mind you are responsible for making sure the recipient of the package (whether it be yourself or another responsible party) is present to open the package upon receipt and to promptly store the items in the refrigerator or freezer. While our packages are meant to sustain at least 48 hours of unrefrigerated shipping, we strongly recommend you open and refrigerate the contents of your package as soon as possible, especially in warmer climates/during the warmer months.
As long as your items are cool to the touch, the contents of your package are not spoiled. This color change is typical with vacuum-sealed meats because a lack of oxygen will cause the meat to lose or change color.
When you open the vacuum-seal packaging and expose the meat to oxygen once again, the meat will regain some of its natural color within 10-15 minutes (a process called blooming).
YES! While we think that fresh meat is the best meat, we understand that you may want to save some of your package for future meals. For the best quality, you should use your products within 5-7 days if refrigerating, and 3-4 months if freezing in original packaging.
While you can keep the products for longer than this in both the freezer and the refrigerator, adhering to these dates will ensure you get the best quality meat!
Call 1-603-303-8519 or email us at tuckingood1@gmail.com to let us know. We will do everything we can to remedy the problem as long as the 48 hours refrigeration deadline has not passed. If your order is warm because you did not open it in time, we cannot replace or refund your order, so it is best you contact us as quickly as possible.
If you want your package to arrive by the next business day, you must place your order by 12pm the day before you want your package to arrive.
